AMC

AMC is an American cable television channel. Owned by AMC Global Media, the channel primarily airs acquired feature films, as well as original and acquired drama series.
Launched in late-1980 on New York City's Cablevision as Montage, it originally focused on vintage black and white films, presented uncut and commercial-free. In 1984, the network changed its name to American Movie Classics (AMC).
